Offline analysis in PT4, Hand2Note, and HM3

Use PokerTracker’s Get Hands From Disk workflow. Start with a small directory, inspect the import status, and verify known hands before loading a larger archive.

• Confirm the target database and remove accidental report filters.
• Treat duplicate hand IDs as overlap to investigate, not IDs to rewrite.
• Do not assume a successful historical import enables a live Lucky Bun overlay.

Hand2Note

Use the file or folder import path for extracted hand histories. Keep ante and no-ante data separable, then verify stakes, positions, actions, board cards, and timestamps.

• Use dated folders for repeatable updates.
• Review duplicate and error counts after each import.
• Aliases should combine only screen names that genuinely belong together.

Holdem Manager 3

Delivered files are intended for HM3 offline import as well. As with every tracker, test a small batch and compare several parsed hands with the source before relying on aggregate reports.

Safe import checklist

• Keep the original downloaded archive unchanged.
• Extract into a folder named by delivery date, stake, and format.
• Import a small sample into the intended database.
• Verify fields and filters, then import the remaining files.
• Retain the raw source files even after a successful import.
