Import Lucky Bun Hands into PokerTracker 4

LuckyBun Edge hand histories are designed for offline study. The safe PT4 workflow is simple: keep the download intact, test a small batch, verify the imported hands, and only then load the full package.

Before you import

1. Download the package from your LuckyBun Edge panel.
2. Keep the original ZIP as a backup.
3. Extract the files into a new folder named with the download date and stake.
4. Open the target PT4 database and note its name.
5. Start with a small folder or a few files.

A test batch makes errors visible. A full historical import can take longer and makes it harder to tell whether the parser, the database, or a filter caused the problem.

Use Get Hands From Disk

PokerTracker's official guide says historical files should be imported with Get Hands From Disk. You can open it from the Play Poker page or from the import icon near the bottom-right of PT4. Choose Select Directory for a folder or Select Files for a controlled test.

After the import, inspect the import status and open several hands. Verify player names, stakes, timestamps, actions, pots, and winners. Do not assume a green progress bar proves every field was parsed correctly.

If PT4 reports duplicates

Duplicates usually mean the same hand ID already exists in that database. That is useful protection, not missing data. Check whether you imported an overlapping package or reused a directory from an earlier export.

• Do not edit hand IDs to force another import.
• Compare package dates and filters before deleting anything.
• Keep raw files separate from PT4's processed or archived files.

If hands import but reports look empty

1. Confirm you are viewing the same database that received the import.
2. Clear date, stake, player, game-type, and currency filters.
3. Search for a known nickname or hand ID from the test batch.
4. Check whether the hands were assigned to an unexpected site or game label.
5. If statistics look stale, follow PT4's database-management guidance before rebuilding a cache.

Offline reports are not a live Lucky Bun HUD

Importing historical hands gives you PT4 reports and opponent statistics inside PT4. It does not prove that PT4 can attach a live overlay to Lucky Bun's browser tables. PT4's own HUD documentation requires supported live hand importing and site configuration.

LuckyBun Edge does not currently promise a PT4 on-table HUD. Its own on-table HUD is coming soon and is not live yet.
