Import Lucky Bun Hand Histories into Hand2Note

Hand2Note can analyze hand histories stored on your computer. For Lucky Bun, the reliable use case today is offline reporting: import a delivered package, verify the result, then filter by stake, date, player, and format.

Prepare the files

1. Download your package from the LuckyBun Edge panel.
2. Keep the original archive unchanged.
3. Extract a small test batch into its own folder.
4. Name folders by delivery date, stake, and ante format.

This folder structure mirrors how LuckyBun Edge separates access. It also makes an overlapping update easier to diagnose.

Import the test batch

Hand2Note's official getting-started guide offers three relevant routes: import a folder, import selected files, or migrate from another supported database. For raw Lucky Bun text files, start with Import Folder or the file option in the Import menu.

When processing finishes, open several hands and verify:

• player names and table size;
• blind level and ante state;
• positions, action order, and bet amounts;
• board cards, showdown, and pot result;
• the hand timestamp used by your reports.

Build reports without mixing formats

Start with simple filters. Pick one stake, one ante format, and one date range. Only combine pools after you know exactly which context each statistic represents.

Hand2Note supports reports, statistics, filters, and aliases. An alias is useful when your own account name changed, but it should not be used to merge unrelated opponents. Keep a note of every alias rule so future imports stay reproducible.

Importing future updates

1. Place each new delivery in a dated folder.
2. Import it into the same Hand2Note database.
3. Review duplicate and error counts.
4. Check a known recent hand before trusting the new date range.

Do not delete old raw packages just because they were imported. The tracker database is a working copy; the original text files are your recoverable source.

What this does not establish

A successful historical import does not mean Hand2Note will display a live HUD on Lucky Bun tables. Hand2Note's live setup depends on a supported poker client and a live auto-import path. LuckyBun Edge currently provides historical and ongoing files for analysis. Its separate on-table HUD is coming soon and is not live yet.
